First Dentist Appointment

This is my daughter Grace.

She is 5.

    I'm sorry. She has inherited the bad teeth gene from me. I spent half my life in a dentist's chair. It's not you, it's the inherited enamel. I love you.

    Atleast she's getting the gas. It's hard to take care of baby teeth, I struggle with brushing my girls teeth atleast once every two days. I'm a hypocritical dental assistant for sure! I'm going to be better with the permanent ones for sure though and you can too!

    Noah had dental work at 4. It was so embarrassing, but the dentist said he has genetic deep grooves in his teeth. I am not sure if they were telling me that to make me fell better, but it worked a little. They had to put him under- it was so weird to see him loopy afterward. I think they need to gas him or put him under every time because at the last dental visit- he bit the hygenist.
