Frowny face.

Let me preface this by saying how much I LOVE Grace's kindergarten teacher. She is wonderful. Amazing.

My only beef is... This just doesn't look like a mop.

  1. Oh, man. What grade is she in? I would say the frowny face is a bit extreme....

  3. Not only does it not look like a mop but Grace correctly wrote exactly what it does look like without a guide to help her to the right! WAY TO GO GRACE!!!! : ) Bad teacher. Bad, bad teacher! : )

  6. Here's your opportuny to talk about the fact that teachers are people too, not perfect and not in chargeof our lives or self-esteem.

  7. I would have given it a HUGE smiley face and a "well played Grace." Just like I did when one of mine identified a pea as "edemame".

  8. ps. that worksheet is way below Grace -- any kid that can spell broom in kindergarten is above working on the "short o" sound. Hope she's being given challenging assignments that meet her needs :) Aren't I such a teacher????
