Oink

Turns out that it's not always just a cough and sore throat.

Turns out when you're the first person at your very large company's in-house clinic to be tested positive for swine flu they call corporate in Virginia and initiate a campus-wide emergency protocol.

Turns out that wearing a face mask out to your car makes you feel like a bio-terrorist.

In case you had ever wondered.

  5. Elise, I am sooooo sorry! I HATE those moments when the embarassment outweighs the actual problem.
I would say that I wish I was there to give you a hug... but I don't... not until you get better ;)

  6. Well, I wish that embarrassment did outweigh the actual problem. In this case, the swine flu actually really is miserable. Its like getting hit by a truck. Especially the day after you think you're getting better. The girls unfortunately have already been exposed, and I think they're showing less exaggerated symptoms. They are on Tamiflu, and it seems to be helping.

  7. Sorry to hear it.

Hope you get some good movies, a cozy blanket and bed, fresh squeezed OJ and a personal nurse-maid to wait on your every need.

    Get better soon!
