To the person who stole my phone...

I'll give you 200 bucks if you'll give it back. (Which is more than it'll go for on ebay, by the way.)

  1. I'll think about it. Make it $250 and we have a deal. :)

  2. Someone stole my phone too!!! I thought it was "lost," you know, under a couch cushion or something and it would just show up sometime. Well I sort of forgot about it (shows you how little I care about my cell phone, which I actually do, but I also have like a bazillion other little details of life to worry about). So anyway, I get a call from my brother about 6 days after said phone was missing, who said, hey I just called your number and some guy answered. Turned out my mom and sister had called my phone days earlier and talked to a lady who said that it wasn't my phone (it clearly was) yet they hadn't bothered to call and tell me about it. So...long story, even longer, I shut off my number (but still have to pay for the overage charges made by the schmuck who stole my phone), looked at all of the numbers from the calls made and incoming calls and my hubby tracked down the lady who stole the phone. She said it was her son's friend that stole it, and said she'd send the phone. She hasn't, probably never will, but it's okay. It was a $20 buck version from Wal-mart. Nonetheless, who ARE these CREEPS??!!

I'm sorry about your phone, btw.

  3. Oh, another funny aspect of the whole thing. I checked the messages and there were several for "Linda" (the thief!) from "Bill," an apparent boyfriend. From what I could tell, they were undergoing some turbulent times in their relationship.....

  4. No fun! Although I did enjoy reading your friend's cell phone woes as well. My sister had her phone stolen once and the lady just said something like "Have fun paying for a new phone!" and hung up on her. Seriously, some people's children!
